FlexGrid HEMS
A 350-gram box in your meter cupboard that drives the rest of your installation. FlexGrid connects solar panels, home battery, heat pump and charging point, looks at the electricity price and picks, moment by moment, the smartest thing to do.
Small box, every decision
FlexGrid is the energy management system by Dysun Energy. It measures what comes in and goes out, talks to your inverter, your battery and your other devices, and decides when there is charging, discharging or consumption. You do not have to follow tariffs yourself or switch devices on and off.
The module fits on a DIN rail or on the wall, runs on a 230 V AC adapter or on 12 V DC, and joins the network over RJ45 gigabit ethernet. Where there is no fixed connection, an internal 4G modem can go in.

FlexGrid drives the home battery and the inverter from Dysun Energy. Your installer switches it on at handover.
What FlexGrid arranges for you all day
Everything below happens automatically, in the background. You notice it on your annual statement and in the fact that you no longer have to think about it.
It picks the cheapest hours itself
FlexGrid drives your installation on dynamic energy prices and trades automatically on the day-ahead market, the imbalance market and local energy markets. Self-learning algorithms forecast your consumption, your solar yield, your charging moments and your heat demand, so today's decision already takes tomorrow into account.
Your peaks stay under the limit
The system watches your power and caps it where needed, so you do not exceed the maximum value of your connection. On a three-phase connection FlexGrid balances the load continuously across all three phases. Your car charges on cheap electricity or on your own sun, with respect for the time you want to leave.
Everything in one overview
Solar panels, charging points and home batteries come together on one platform. You see in real time what you generate, what you use and what goes in and out of the battery. If something goes wrong with performance or the connection, you get a notification about it instead of it running on unnoticed.
It talks to what you already have
FlexGrid supports more than 500 communication protocols and connects over Modbus, RS485 and an HTTPS API to batteries, inverters, charging points, heat pumps and energy meters. The system integrates with dozens of brands, including SMA, Victron, Schneider Electric and GoodWe.
Alerts, reports and a portal of your own
The module comes with software for monitoring, alarm handling, reporting, advice and planning. Control you cannot check is a black box; FlexGrid shows what it does.
Alarms arrive by email, and optionally as a pop-up or SMS. Reports are generated automatically, per installation or across a whole portfolio, with performance and financial figures per day, per quarter and per year. For a quick visual check or a detailed comparison, the analysis tools are included as standard.
Installers and managers also get a customer portal with straightforward user management and access to all consumption reports and financial analyses. Communication is encrypted and the platform is routinely tested for vulnerabilities.
The figures and the connections
Handy to put next to your meter cupboard or an existing installation before you have an installer come round.
