Your connection is the limit. FlexGrid keeps you under it.

Solar panels, storage, heat pumps and charging points together ask more of your grid connection than they do separately. FlexGrid is the decision layer that tunes all those systems to each other: it watches your power, keeps the phases balanced and picks, moment by moment, what charges, discharges or waits.

It is not your consumption that is the problem, but the moment it coincides

On a business site, peaks rarely come alone. The machines are running, the fleet is on the charger and the heat pump kicks in, all at the same moment. FlexGrid steers on consumption and feed-in and so prevents overloading and limits on your connection.

When a heavier connection is not available in the short term, using the existing capacity more intelligently is the fastest route. The system distributes the available room across the devices that matter most at that moment, spreads the rest and keeps the peak power under the limit you have agreed.

FlexGrid works brand-independently and integrates with the systems already in place. The control happens locally, so the system responds immediately to what happens in your installation and does not have to wait for a connection to the outside world.

What FlexGrid arranges for you all day

Everything below happens automatically, in the background. Your people do not have to follow tariffs or switch devices on and off by hand.

Your peak power stays under the agreed limit

The system watches and caps the power your site draws at any moment. Surplus solar energy goes to the battery, the heat pump or the charging points instead of onto the grid, so you use your own generation at the moment it is worth something to you.

All three phases stay balanced

FlexGrid balances the load across the three phases automatically. That prevents one phase filling up while there is still room on the other two, so you really use the room within your connection.

Trading on the markets where the price moves

The system buys and sells automatically at the most favourable moments through dynamic electricity prices, the day-ahead market, the imbalance market and local energy markets. Your storage is therefore not only a buffer for your own generation, but also a position on the market.

Deciding today on tomorrow's prices

With AI, FlexGrid forecasts your consumption, your solar yield, your charging moments and your heat demand. On the basis of that expectation the system already takes decisions now: filling up when it pays, waiting when that is wiser.

Your fleet charges without creating a new peak

Electric vehicles charge on cheap electricity or on your own solar energy, with respect for the moment they have to leave again. The charging falls under the same power monitoring and capping as the rest of the site.

Several sites as one virtual power plant

FlexGrid supports more than 500 communication protocols and integrates a wide range of energy systems. Installations can form a Virtual Power Plant together and take part in the energy markets as one whole.

An EMS runs the installation, a HEMS runs the whole

The two terms are often used interchangeably, but they do not do the same thing. The difference decides how much you can steer and earn with your installation.

EMS: control around the inverter

An energy management system drives the inverter for maximum self-consumption and charges and discharges the battery automatically at the best moment. Five smart battery modes cover the usual situations, from maximum self-consumption to backup.

For managers there is fleet management: all your installations come together in one portal. That works excellently as long as the control stays limited to generation and storage.

HEMS: control across all systems

A home energy management system drives all energy systems centrally and sets smart priorities based on accurate forecasts. With integrations for leading brands it talks to the devices you already use, and it earns alongside through the energy markets.

That makes a HEMS suitable for homes and businesses alike. As soon as heat, cooling and charging points are in play besides solar and storage, this is the layer that tunes the whole to each other.

You see in real time where your energy goes

Control you cannot check is a black box. Through one platform you see directly what you generate, what you use and what goes in and out of storage, and you adjust where needed.

If something goes wrong with a device, you do not wait for it. The monitoring runs in real time and you get an SMS warning, so a fault does not run on unnoticed for weeks at a site nobody visits daily.

FlexGrid also delivers reports per day, per quarter and per year. If you manage several sites or a portfolio of installations, those installations come together in one portal.

It talks to what is already there

FlexGrid brings a wide range of energy sources together on one platform, from batteries and solar panels to charging stations and heat pumps.

The platform is compatible with well-established brands such as Growatt, Victron Energy, SMA and Deye, which lets it fit into existing installations without everything having to be replaced. That keeps the installation straightforward and the performance predictable, including where your site was built up in phases.

More than 180 electrical devices can be connected and are managed from one dashboard. With that, FlexGrid optimises energy consumption, reduces peak loads and keeps you the flexibility to expand later.

The platform supports new technologies and developments, so you are prepared for changing energy markets and the new business models that arise from them.

Fitted by installers who know the system

Delivery and fitting run through certified installers in the Netherlands. They know the build-up of the system, the connection conditions and the settings that go with your site.

If you are an installer or distributor yourself, there is a separate route. Through the management platform you drive your complete portfolio and keep sight of all the installations you have handed over.
