Assurance starts at the factory and does not stop at handover

Dysun Energy works to safeguard the safety of home batteries and energy storage systems during transport and during use. Our products are made to the highest standards and are fitted with technology that keeps them safe, reliable and protected, from the factory to the final destination.

Every module tells you what happened on the way

Dysun Energy uses tilt and impact indicators to safeguard shipping. Every module carries G2 ShockWatch impact indicators that record whether there were knocks during transport and installation. On delivery it is therefore visible whether the product arrived undamaged.

You only notice that difference at the moment something goes wrong. Without indicators, damage comes to light later, when it is hard to show where it happened. With a visible indicator on the module you see it at a glance, and nobody has to have that discussion.

The indicators also give transparency across the whole chain. We see where in the route something happened, can identify and resolve possible damage quickly, and deliver a system whose condition is demonstrable rather than assumed.

The safety is in the product itself, not in the leaflet

A home battery sits in a house or commercial building for years. That is why the protection is built into the design: several layers that catch each other, so one deviation never immediately becomes a problem.

An integrated aerosol fire suppression system

Dysun Energy is one of the few suppliers with an integrated aerosol fire suppression system inside a home battery. That gives extra assurance against fire risk on overheating, inside the module itself.

Seven safety layers one behind the other

The system works with a seven-layer safety system. Each layer watches its own aspect of operation, from cell level to system level, so a deviation is spotted and caught before it can carry on.

LFP cells as the starting point

The FlexVolt One works with LFP cells (LiFePO4). The system is specified at 7,000 cycles and the battery modules carry a ten-year warranty. What has to stay safe also has to last.

Up to the local conditions

The enclosure has protection rating IP66 and the system works between -20 and 50 degrees Celsius. A heating module is included, so the battery keeps working within that range in frost as well.

You see it before you notice it

With the FlexGrid energy management system the installation can be followed in real time and warnings go out by SMS. So you know what is going on at the moment it is going on, and not only once something stands out.

Suitable for every application

The system can be used on-grid, on-grid with backup and off-grid, on the wall or on the floor. Which set-up it becomes you decide together with the installer.

Tested before it comes your way

Our products are tested strictly for safety, including with the UN 38.3 test for lithium batteries. That test is aimed specifically at a battery surviving transport and then being safe to put into use.

The products also carry UL certification and CE marking. That means they meet the safety requirements and the worldwide standards that apply to energy storage systems and batteries. That is not a paper matter: it is the substantiation you can request and show.

The certifications and standards in one place: CE, UKCA, UL 1973, UL 9540, IEC/EN 62619, UN 38.3, the safety data sheet (MSDS) and CEI 0-21. If a customer asks for that documentation, we send it over.

Whoever fits it decides how safe it stays

The market for safe and reliable energy storage is growing, and with that growth expectations rise. Reliable safety measures and good monitoring are therefore not an extra but a condition for lasting success.

Our certified installers make sure Dysun Energy products are installed safely and to the highest standards, which contributes to long-lasting and reliable performance. In the Netherlands we deliver through that network of certified installers, so what we safeguard in the factory also holds up in the meter cupboard.

The FlexSwitch One is fitted by a qualified electrician in line with the local wiring rules. That applies to any switching arrangement that moves a home onto backup: it is work for a professional, and we keep it that way.

Warranty and service

A warranty period says little as long as it is not clear what it applies to. This is what is recorded.

The installation is carried out by a certified installer; that is also the first point of contact in the event of a fault. If it is about a system that is already fitted and you cannot resolve it through the installer, the service address above takes you directly to Dysun Energy.

The full conditions, the capacity warranty and the exclusions are on the warranty page. If you want to see the underlying warranty document, request it through support@dysun.energy.
